Seven Layer Salad:
This delicious 7 layer salad almost always makes an appearance at our family gatherings and holiday dinners. A glass salad bowl is a must, otherwise your dinner guests will miss all the pretty layers. Those layers begin with chopped lettuce and go on from there – red onion, cauliflower, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, chicken slices and salad dressing. Luscious layers of veggies create a colorful and super easy salad. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
For Salad:
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup frozen green peas, thawed
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cauliflower, finely chopped
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 large head iceberg lettuce, finely chopped
For Salad Dressing:
- 2/3 cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded
- 1-1/4 cups mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp white sugar
Directions:
To Make 7 Layer Salad;
- Cut chicken breasts into strips then place in a large skillet.
- Cook for 10 minutes over medium high heat or until all juices runs clear and no longer pink.
- Set aside.
- Take a large flat glass bowl.
- Place the chopped lettuce in the glass bowl.
- Top with a layer of onion, peas, shredded cheese, cauliflower and cooked chicken.
To Make Salad Dressing:
- In a small bowl, combine together mayonnaise, sugar and Parmesan cheese.
- Stir well.
To Proceed:
- Drizzle this salad dressing over the salad.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours or until chilled.
